Pachamama
Blown and Engraved by Hamish Donaldson, this vase is made with a combination of analogue and digital technologies and processes.
Several colours are overlaid upon one another in the hotshop, before a design is created digitally and then exposed to light sensitive masking tape in order for the final form to be sandblasted by hand. A fine example of the exciting new ways that Hamish has found to create timeless art glass.
18cm R x 15cm H
This work was one of 3 exhibited at Unassigned Gallery as part of ‘Gathering: Around Glass’ (2024)
