Private Glassblowing Workshop

Learn how to manipulate molten glass into beautiful and original art with our experienced glassblower.
This half day workshop offers a fantastic opportunity to discover traditional Venetian techniques used in hot glass studios in a one-on-one lesson with no experience necessary, the workshop is a perfect introduction into the world of glass blowing.
The course covers equipment, tools, OH&S and proper working procedures used in the glassblowing studio. Gathering, marvering and shaping of molten glass, and correct tool usage will be taught and demonstrated. Colour-application techniques will also be introduced with participants choosing and applying their own colour combinations. All materials, tools and glass are provided. Over the duration of the workshop participants will have the opportunity to complete at least 3 pieces that will be available to take home the following day.

Wear loose comfortable clothes, covered in shoes & long hair tied back.
